MV Monsoon is a luxuriously appointed motor vessel with day charters to the reef catering for a maximum of 10 guests. Overnight charters are available for a maximum of six guests.
We offer exclusivity in both guest numbers and select destinations.
The vessel departs from The Reef Marina, Port Douglas at 8.15am and return at approximately 4.15pm.
Charters and itineraries are happily tailored to suit your preferences.

A TYPICAL Charter Itinerary looks a little like this...
8:00am
Arrival and Boarding at The Reef Marina, Port Douglas. Make yourself at home on your boat for the day!
8.15am
Departure
Enjoy a light morning tea while MV Monsoon heads off into the blue horizon, steaming comfortably to your first destination.
9:00 - 11:00 am
Arrival to your first reef site for snorkelling, exploration or fishing. The crew will have you in the water in no time, being captivated by the exhilarating and magical underwater world. Low Isles is an idyllic tropical coral cay with coral gardens, diverse marine life and plenty of friendly turtles. Should you prefer to be catching your fish, we will take you to one of our favourite fishing spots, perhaps a bommie off Snapper Island or off a wreck further north, to kick off the day.
12:30 - 2:00 pm
Al fresco lunch is served, with fresh gourmet salads and chilled seafood platters served with non alcoholic beverages (alcoholic beverages may be supplied on a BYO basis).
Your skipper may motor to your next destination while you enjoy lunch and the panoramic view on the flybridge. Ahhh this is the life!
2.00 pm
It's time to get back in the water!
While away the afternoon snorkelling, drift diving, island exploring or hook another big one at your second destination for the day. Enjoy the reef wholeheartedly before settling back into the comfort of the boat for a cruise home while the sun starts descending behind the mountain ranges.
4.15 pm
Approximate arrival back at The Reef Marina, Port Douglas, armed with sunkisses, fishies, happy snaps and unforgettable memories....
CHARTER PRICING
A full day charter for up to 10 guests with the above inclusions is available for $5,000 including GST.
For multiday charters for up to 5 guests, pricing is available upon request.

We feel so privileged to have been on board Monsoon for the day. It was the best day of our lives. The boat was spotlessly clean, luxurious and the food was to die for. The crew looked after our every need including serving the most delicious lunch. the outer reef that they took us to just can’t be described. It was beautiful. We were provided with stinger suits and snorkels and masks and fins and they accompanied us into the water. The crew on board never took their eyes off the water, safety was extremely good. We were a group of 12 friends and family so had the boat exclusively to relax, eat, snorkel and we even saw whales and dolphins. Perfect perfect day!”
